If you've never experienced the problems that water can cause in your gas or diesel tank, consider yourself lucky! No doubt more than one boater on your dock has at one time or another been stranded after their engine quit due to water in their fuel. AquaSocks, a newly developed product, actually removes water from your fuel tank BEFORE it becomes an issue.

You can use AquaSocks two or three times a year as a preventative. A "full" sock will let you know there's water in your tank. You may need more than one to take care of normal tank condensation. If you suspect you already have water in your tank, the AquaSocks will not only confirm this, but can remove the water as well.

How Does AquaSock Work?

The technology that powers the AquaSocks is a special water-removing chemical that is contained in a weighted, sock-like bag. The bag has been designed to be inserted into the fuel tank via an access plate (located on the fuel tank) or the fuel gauge sender. The sock will come to rest on the tank bottom where water collects when the boat is not in motion. After 24 hours, the AquaSocks will complete its job. Just use the retrieval string provided to remove the gel filled sock. Dispose of the sock and you're done!

AquaSocks Comes in Two Sizes

Because the introduction of water into your gas or diesel fuel tank is a difficult, if not impossible problem to avoid, preventative use of AquaSocks is a no-brainer, especially when you consider the price and ease of use. Keep in mind that while gasoline engines have a fuel-water separator, this device is not practical for the removal of larger amounts of water. Your gasoline engine can still benefit from regular use of AquaSocks!

AquaSocks comes in two sizes, the AQ12 which will soak up 12 ounces or water, and the AQ28, which holds up to 28 ounces of water. The AQ12 requires an access hole no smaller than 1 3/8 inches in diameter, while the AQ28 requires an access hole no smaller than 2 1/2 inches in diameter. At less than $30, AquaSocks is an unbelievably inexpensive preventative to a potentially costly and time consuming problem. Even if you need multiple AquaSocks to remove, for example, a gallon of water, AquaSocks is still a cost efficient option.
